I already searched the forum for similarly topices, but did not found anything

Is there a form-field-type like an UrlField or LinkField planned, or even done but not released? I think about a form-field with js validation, if the input is a correctly spelled internet url and perhaps a testing function, which opens the inserted url in a small pop up window...

If there is nothing likewise available, yet, I would implement one and publish it here for the community...
