Hi

I have a new site set up www.imageslasertek.com which is showing either a page rank of 0 for a page or registers no page rank at all.

The customer I have set the site up for is giving me a flogging about where they appear in Google search ie way down the list.

I am pretty sure their site's low ranking in the search results is due to the poor Page rankings but am unable to find any reference to how to resolve these issues.

Can some please help identify what I need to do to get the page rank working for this site so I can make the customer happier at least.

many thanks

Hi Pottsy,

First I would try to use text, as opposed to images of text in your header. This is a good place to use keywords that your client is trying to rank for.

Change all the $Title header tags to <h1> if they are <h2> and then use descriptive titles for your page headings.

To go further you can use the keywords or phrases that your client is trying to rank for, a couple of times in the first paragraph of the page.

Cheers
