Hi, having some problems with silverstipe. I need to assign an id to a <span> tag and whenever I input it into the html side of the cms it rejects it.

Had a google search and it told me to edit tinymce.template.js and add into the valid elements tag.

So i did, to no avail, i also tried in the extended elements tag and still no change.

Could you please help.

This may be changed significantly with TinyMCE3 in the upcoming version of SilverStripe - see if the latest daily build has solved this for you.
