How to add a 'from' field into forms

It would be really helpful if i could add a 'from' field into contact and user definable forms, even if it is the same as the 'to' field as emails without this are being picked up by spam filters. Any ideas ?

I agree it would be nice. Currently there is no way to do it with user defined forms, you have to make a custom one.
This is the reason I _never_ use user defined forms. I believe some others have suggested this as well.
