Newsletter subscribers export

Hey, we have kind of complex newsletter requirements so want to make the switch from Silversripes newsletter system to a third party one. Is there any way we can export out subscribers?
The reasonw e are shifting is that we need to be able to send emails out to various groups within the list based on tags
