Firefox prob after css mods

Hi
First, great bit of kit (CMS).
I have made a couple of alterations to the 'Charity' theme, I cut the size of the header down to 208px and made the nessessary alterations in layout.css
thing is, its ok in IE7 but not in firefox (v2), the content is still where it was before!!
any help appreciated.
