Hi folks
I'm a new user and just downloaded today. Have to say I really like what you guys are developing here. From the research I've done on these forums so far it looks like this is just the kind of CMS framework I've been after for both personal sites and client sites
Anyway before I loose myself for the next few hours installing and learning Silverstripe, one initial comment I have is - is there a temporary reason why this site and these forums are so slow? Compared to the many other forums I visit daily moving around this site and searching in particular is painfully slow
Anyway hope it's a temporary thing.

Well after searching for posts relating to an initial install issue I had, I must say that I really do miss not having forum functionality as per Invision, vBulletin, phpbb etc.. i.e. being able to sort post orders, view new posts easily etc.. and whatever I search for I seem to end up with 900+ pages! I guess the search does not support "exact sentence" matches

No it doesnt support advanced searching just yet. The next version of the forum is under development currently and will probably be used when we roll out the new silverstripe site in the coming months.
If you have any more requests / ideas it would be great to see them added to the list of tickets on open.silverstripe.com.
