buildDataObjectSet broken in RC1

Hi,
I have a site built to test 2.3 RC1, have found that when performing dev/build the tables are always rebuilt. This i believe is due to DataObject::buildDataObjectSet never correctly processing the $records var.
Seen this anywhere else?
Can anyone check this is correct or does it need patching?

haswait, do you still see this problem with RC2? Can't reproduce. Please file a ticket to make sure your bug report doesn't get lost.

I'm pretty sure it's gone now.
But i've not tried RC2 i'm working from the svn branches.
P.S.
I thought the image field was fixed so you don't need to save the item first? but when using the ModelAdmin you still need to save first before being able to upload an image!Harry
