Hello,

I am considering moving a site into SilverStripe. The one potential problem I've noticed as I've worked through the tutorials is a very very slow editor. When I try to type in content (a news article, for example), the editor is way behind me. I have to wait for it to catch up. Very frustrating!

Is this fixable? Are there other WYSIWYG editors that can be used with SilverStripe?

Thank you.

Do you find this slowness also effects http://demo.silverstripe.com ?
It certainly isn't supposed to be slow, so it is a case of figuring out what is causing the sluggishness..
.... which browser are you using, and is the specification of your computer fairly decent?

I too am having that problem. The demo here is quite fast.
So, it's not my browser (I tried FF 2 and IE 6)

I'm using php-5.1.6-6
My site is hosed on a MediaTemple (gs).

Any other info that could help?
