installing modules?

im new to silverstripe but i just dont know how to install modules...the website isnt very clear...the e-commerece module for example...there isnt much about how to install it...yes it tells about how to set it up but the file you download...what do you do with that? please someone give me clues.....im really frustrated

this is easy, follow the steps bellow.

1. Extract the module to your site root
2. run this URL http://yourdomainname/db/build?flush=1

thats all, so now access your CMS back end to see the changes

yep did that thanks very much.

but it showed a white page with stuff like this ( i did the forum module)

but when i logged into the backend i didnt see any changes....because i wanted to create a forum but i saw no changes...could this because i need to install aditional modules to make this work?
