    css menu/video problem Link to this post

    Howdy,

    I'm using an iframe to get embedded video to work on the home page but I've also got a css only drop down menu. The drop down menu is dropping behind the video rather than on top of it. I've tried the z-index but it hasn't worked so far. If anybody has any ideas I'm all ears.

    Here's the site:

    Just tried that. Didn't seem to work. The iframe reacts correctly but the actual video still ends up on top.

    are you using flash for the video? If so this is a common problem and the solution is to set the window mode to opaque instead of transparent in the object code:

    wmode="opaque"

    It doesn't work on linux however.....I don't think there is a fix for Linux atm.

    Thanks but that didn't work either. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. I'm open to ideas.
