ComplexTableField actions & Export to CSV

I have a ComplexTableField on a user facing page, that lists some important information for them. Unfortuantely actions don't seem to be possible on this, clicking on show, edit, or export just returns:

I can't handle sub-URLs of a ... object

I was wondering if I need to extend or implement some class in order to make it work. Someone else has posted that currentPageID needs to be correct. currentPageID seems to be a LeftAndMain specific things from what I can tell, and I have no idea what the correct value would be.

Any help would be great.

EDIT: I fixed it, I was being too clever and not constructing the full form if it wasn't being requested for displaying. Basically any path the exits early before creating the full form with the ComplexTableField in it will break it. Makes sense when you think about it!

Another problem though, the Export to CSV link on both the user facing pages adn in teh reports section of the admin only point to the base url of the site. Any ideas here?
