Zend Studio (6) for Eclipse or What is the best SS development setup?

2 April 2008 at 11:03am
I have just acquired Zend Studio 6 for Eclipse. A couple of questions:
1) Is it OK for SS site & code development?
2) Does anybody else use it and have any advice about setting it up with SS?
It seems to be a fairly comprehensive piece of software, I have used Zend Studio 5.5 for some time, but this seems so very different and there's a lot of terminology that is new to me; I think from the Eclipse side. I also use NuSphere which I also find very good. In fact I have MS Expression & Dreamweaver (CS3).
My problem is that I'm trying to decide on a standard development platform for my SS work. I really would appreciate any help in putting together the best development system from what I have. I find myself jumping between MS Expression web for css stuff then to Notpad++ for ss template files and a combination of NuSphere & Zend 5.5 for php stuff. Then FileZilla for ftp from time to time. You can imagine some of the crazy errors that this creates.
Any & all advice welcome.
Jonathan.
