Re: Multilingual content feature

so you're looking for a pretty lowlevel introduction to silverstripe on code-level, right?
everything starts at sapphire/main.php, and then you can work your way onwards through Director and the sapphire/core directories. most of these are documented already:
http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=execution-pipeline
http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=director
http://doc.silverstripe.com/doku.php?id=datamodelwhat would you expect from the documentation you're looking for?
does the proposed "learning path" on doc.silverstripe.com suit you? -

Thanks, I'll have a look at these. I have to admit that I hadn't read much of the docs, because it starts out very user-ish and for that kind of stuff I normally just play around to explore. So it was my own damn fault I missed the deeper stuff further in. Thanks again.
Man, PHP is really hard to read, but you guys write really clean code for it, so kudos. Still, out of interest, why do you use the short PHP-tags? Isn't that on the naughty list, so to say?
Edit: Also, all your stuff is really pretty, even your dokuwiki skin totally works, aesthetically speaking.

As far as I'm aware, we don't use short tags.. Where did you see these?

Sorry - must have confused something, I only saw them in main.php5 now upon rechecking. I have looked at so many CMSs the last few days that I probably just got confused.

Hi all, when do you plan to launch the multilingual support for SilverStripe? It's enabled in the last 2.1 release? Thanks
