Hey guys,

Not sure if you were aware of this or not but the silverstripe.com rss feed is no longer working. Probably just need to update the pointing location of the feedburner feed.

Also I only realised this a little while ago that feedburner has a "health check" feed which you can subscribe to to simply get notified if the feed breaks or is unreachable for any reason. Good little service that wasn't obvious when I signed up.

Scott.

I can confirm that http://feeds.feedburner.com/silverstripe-blog does not work and http://www.silverstripe.com/silverstripe-forum/rss works unreliably.

Cheers,

Elijah

There is another bug in the creation of the RSS feeds: The content is not escaped and so it *sometimes* results in an invalid XML code.

For example the current thread Using <p align=""> leads to the invalid XML code <title>Re: Using <p align=""></title> (the p tag is not closed and so the tags are nested in a wrong way!).

I fixed that in GSoC r39702.. you should merge that into trunk :-)

What is "GSoC r39702" and where do I get it? I have V2.2.2 and iGoogle and My Yahoo feedreaders are NOT getting the latest posts using http://www.mysite.com/blog/rss. The feed directly in the bropwser is fine, but external parsers are having issues. Anyone experience this?
