Hello There,

This is my first day looking at SilverStripe and I have just installed on to my system.

The problem I have encountered is an error message:

The ordinal 2254 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll

I would be grateful if someone could offer some help.

Thanks
Matt

Hey Matt,

Looks like there's an older (or possibly newer) version of libeay32.dll in your Windows system directory.

I have version 0.9.8.4 sitting in my Windows\system32 folder and that seems to work fine for me. If you want, I can send this through to you, or if a dialog box came up during the installation (asking whether or not you wanted to overwrite this shared file), you should be ok to overwrite it if the file in the Windows installer is newer.

Let me know how you get on, and if you want me to email the file I'm using through, my email is matt [at] silverstripe.com

Cheers,
(The other) Matt.

Hola udeasoft,

I sure can - can you email me your email address or some other method to send you the file? I have MSN, AIM and Skype if those are easier for you.

Cheers,
Matt.
