Something to test for you :-)

I implemented now support for OpenID for the forum module. That means that you can now register with your OpenID in that way you don't have to type in your name, e-mail address, nickname and so on (if you set up a persona).. everything will be pulled from your OpenID provider automatically.. you just need to allow the system to do so.
You can try this on my test page.
The code is in svn://svn.silverstripe.com/silverstripe/modules/forum/branches/gsoc - you should have access to it.
If you have no OpenID you can get one for free at myopenid.com
Please let me know if you experience any problems.

i'm trying to sign in with an myopenid.com-account at http://test.silverstripe.com/mlanthaler/Security/login#OpenIDLoginForm_LoginForm_tab, getting this error:
"Either your account is not enabled for OpenID/i-name authentication or the entered identifier is wrong. Please try again."
my login works fine in other services, e.g. ma.gnolia.com.
i'm aware of the fact that my login probably has to be "approved" as a valid cms-user somewhere, is there another way to register?

You have to register your OpenID before you can use it to log in. So please go to http://test.silverstripe.com/mlanthaler/ForumMemberProfile/registerwithopenid and register your OpenID. Afterwards you can log in using the normal login form.
