Hi all - I'm just evaluating SilverStripe as a way to add simple CMS to some small websites, and I wondered if it is SEO friendly? I notice the pages have a .ss extension - will the content of the site still be accessible to Search Engines? Or does anyone know any issues with this that I should be aware of?

things that are pretty important for SEO is what keywords you use for headings and your content and having links both incoming to your site from other sites and outgoing links from your site to other sites. So the SEO effectiveness for those factors are up to the web developer/ site owner, Rather then SilverStripe itself. SilverStripe of course helps it by producing standards based code in its templates that is easy to crawl, accessible to things like googlebot, But in the end it comes down to the written content.

Presently have a problem with spider simulators not seeing the meta data of my site.
The message comes up:
ERROR!
No description data found
No keywords data found
I have put in silverstripe's url in spider simulator and that too has the same issue.

I also find that the home page takes ages to load.
I think it must have something to do with the following source code, but I have no idea how to sort this out.
