Hello,

I've uploaded the silverstripe script and created the database, all settings in the install.php page are green and fine (minus one warning about 'Check that the php.ini setting allow_call_time_pass_reference is on' - which I don't believe would halt it).

When I continue with the install, the following appears:

I am now running through the installation steps (this should take about 30 seconds)

If you receive a fatal error, refresh this page to continue the installation

Creating 'assets' folder...
Creating 'mysite/_config.php'...
Creating '.htaccess' file...
Existing .htaccess found, merging in SilverStripe rewrite rules
Building database schema...

I've waited a couple of minutes and the page does not reload or continue - and checking the database - nothing has been created.

I'm running SilverStripe on a Linux server with Apache/PHP.

Could someone please advise on a fix?

I have tried that and still no good.

Im getting frustrated as have tried it 3 times on 3 diferent databases. It looks like such a good system... cant wait to use it.

There is not DB folder in your script installation - and it returns a page not found when I try that url (obviously changing it to my domain).

Could someone just export the database for me as SQL... having this alternative would be much simpler I can simply then import the database structure manually.

Well, I assume that if someone who didn't have a problem installing it could then send me any schema files (xml?) and their database structure/data in an SQL dump then that would be the equivelent of the script building the database schema.

Worth a try - I've seen numerous more posts with people with the same problem and no answers - makes sense to have the SQL file for manual installation.

Okay I uploaded the htaccess file to the root - and retried the URL.

The page comes up blank - see for yourself http://www.theibizaproject.co.uk/db/build?flush=1
