How to implement Product Group Pagination??

Hi All
Just wondering if anyone know's how to implement pagination on the product group page.
1. I would like to know how to set the pagelimit for the number of items to display.
2. Where to put the code for paginationI have tried using the principles used in pagination for simple search but to no avail.
If anyone could tell me how to implement this functionality it would be greatly appreciated.
