well the best ddea if you have thoughts and advice is to create a page on the documentation wiki . Create a 'Installation Best Practises' (or some other more useful title) and chuck down your thoughts. then its there for every one to consume and digest

Unfortunately I don't have any thoughts or advice, I'm looking for thoughts and advice! Hopefully someone will read this and have the opportunity to write something down.
