Ok. I have downloaded the stuff etc. But I am just not sure where to start.

I just want to create a fully-functional basic website for now. Then once I've gotten the hang of how this CMS stuff works, I will add on to it.

So what I am asking is, Could someone please explain to me, how to say make Home, Contact Us, About Us pages, and links on the top to them...

they explain everything you need to set up an basic layout, quite nice and clear.
