    .zip file of the CMS? Link to this post

    Hi folks,
    Would it be possible to get a .zip file of the CMS for those of us that do not know how to use the tar.gz. For example I get wordpress in .zip then extract it locally then ftp it to the web sever and run the browser based installation.

    Hi Mike,

    You can open Tar files, just install winrar and there you go. Also winrar open zip files as well so even better.

    7-zip is another good (Free) one. http://www.7-zip.org/ also WinAce also deals with tar.gz
