Blog Module Installation Not Working

Hi,
I am trying to install the blog module. I have put the module folder in my root directory, renamed the folder to "blog" and run the database rebuild. Things look seemingly fine (no errors) when I run the rebuild, but I'm not sure any new tables were actually created and nothing blog related is showing up in the admin area.
Any suggestions would be great. I'm using SS 2.4.5
