Beta 2 of SilverStripe 3.2.0 is now out, after quite a long five week initial beta.

A lot of the regressions in upgrading from 3.1 have been resolved, along with increased security, reliability, and performance improvements over beta 1. Head on over to the 3.2.0-beta2 changelog for the specifics.

This will be our final beta before rc1, so it would be great if we could test the hell out of this to uncover and fix any bugs or upgrade breakages as possible.

A direct quote from our CEO Sam Minnée:

Excitement is mandatory

Ok, so please get excited!

Installing this update

You can get a fresh copy of 3.2 installed via composer using the following command:

composer create-project silverstripe/installer /path/to/project 3.2.0-beta2

Or head over to the pre-release downloads to grab the files via zip or tar.

  • So it fixed all the bugs which were faced by many with the previous version. Thank God :)
And tell me one more thing, how can I paste the code into Command Prompt and don't even know where to paste it... Right after my Computers name with slash or somewhere else...
Anxiously waiting for your kind reply.

    Best Regards,
