Site of the Month: 2degrees Mobile

SilverStripe CMS/Framework is widely used among telecommunications companies, thanks to its ability to empower web teams, from developers, designers, to marketers and content editors, to do their jobs well and respond quickly to the competitive telecommunications market. This month’s “Site of the Month” is an outstanding example: 2degrees Mobile, developed by Catch Design agency.

2degrees is a New Zealand full-service telecommunications provider. Launched in 2009, 2degrees has significantly lowered the cost of mobile for Kiwis. In March 2015, the company acquired NZ's fourth largest ISP, and now offers broadband services as well as mobile to Kiwis across the country.

Catch Design is a creative agency, based in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand. The agency creates digital strategies, builds capability and delivers campaigns to “engage, enhance and enable”. The agency’s approach is “think people, content and how multiple interconnected channels can deliver the best experience.”

Catch redesigned and built the new 2degrees website—a mobile-first, responsive design, powered by SilverStripe CMS and hosted on SilverStripe Platform. Catch created a custom design that conveyed the 2degrees brand well and made each page scalable to the visitor’s device. The design was also awarded New Zealand's Best Interactive Design.
