We've recently upgraded a SilverStripe 2.4 site to 3.1. Unfortunately, the upgrade to Kickassets reduces the module functionality, making its file management interface only appear when browsing files from the admin menu link 'Browse files'. When browsing files from the WYSIWYG, you do not get the Kickassets interface, only the default paginated filter list of files, which is not as user friendly.

We were wondering if anyone can offer any guidance or support on getting the interface to work globally for areas where you're browsing assets. As far as we know this issue has been raised with the SS community before, as well as with the Kickassets developer, but there are no plans to address the issue.

I’ve attached some screenshots to show you where it’s working, and where it’s not. Any thoughts appreciated. It would be our assumption you could use the styling and functionality where Kickassets is currently functioning to significantly improve asset navigation in areas where it isn't currently.
