Is the event calendar module by Uncle Cheese compatible with SS 3. If no then can someone guide me as to what changes are required in the event calender module.

I would also like to know about this.
Maybe it requires a more substantial rewrite as with Silverstripe 3 1000s of events would be no problem anymore?
Keep me in the loop on this as I'm keen on discussing on how to go on about it - and how to follow best practices when planning it.

Yeah, I saw that, and have gotten confirmed from UC that it now works on SS3. I've also had a short try downloading it, and indeed, it seems to work!

I can't find any documentation for the Event Calendar Module, It seams not created a page called Calendar in my CMS either!

It is very old, I don't recommend using it. It generally causes more pain than it's worth.
There are some other options available: http://addons.silverstripe.org/add-ons?search=calendar

Thanks Pyromanik for the info... I'll have a look at the link provided for other calendar options.
