Hi all, first post so forgive me if this had been asked before!

What is the best way to build a new site using SS on a live domain while retaining the existing flat web site until the new SS one is redy to go live?

Cheers all!

You could create a new subfolder "ss/" there you could put in all the stuff you need (mysite, assets, cms, jspary, sapphire, .htaccess)

After everything looks fine in your www.yoursite.com/ss/ switch the "document root" to the new directory.
