We are trying to achieve a blog layout in: http://www.planhq.com/blog/. As you can see, there are 'modules' on the right. In Joomla, we can easily assign these to every page in a section (i.e. the blog).

So, I've created a $RightBlock but it only appears for that page and we want it to appears in every blog page including:
1) the frontpage which is of page type "BlogHolder"
2) all blog entries, of page type "BlogEntry"

I can't see a way to avoid duplicating the modules and I am hesitant to make them part of the template as the others really want to have simple editing ability int he backend.

How do you normally get around this?
