I generally like to build/config etc a site then simply upload all files by ftp to my server with the associated MySql dump and load.

I would like to do the same with developments using SS rather than reinstall and manually rebuild the site online each time.

Assuming I have a stable install of SS both locally and online what files must I transfer and are there any other config changes I need to make?

Hi Phil,

If SilverStripe is running successfully on your webserver, you should just need to upload your assets folder and your database schema.

If you have customised the mysite and themes directory you will need to upload these also. (Be sure not to overwrite the mysite/_config.php file!)

Cheers,
Josh
