execute query: website server has not been able to respond

I execute my query correctly and I'm able to see result in my template. If I add where clause I have that error:website server has not been able to respond.
to see if query is correct i print my query in a txt file and I see:

SELECT * FROM ricercapollsubmission WHERE (tipolgia = 1 AND nome = elisa)

so this seems correct. Why I have this problem?this is my query:

$sqlQuery = new SQLQuery();
$sqlQuery->select = array("*");
$sqlQuery->from = array("ricercapollsubmission");
$sqlQuery->where = array("tipolgia = 1 AND nome = elisa");

//echo $sqlQuery . "<br><br>" ;
$res = $sqlQuery->execute();

after execute i have that error.

Put the site into dev mode, this will output the proper error rather then the generic error message. You can do this by adding 'Director::set_environment_type("dev");' to you mysite/_config.php file
