Love SS so far !

My client is currently filling his site and asks why he cannot publish the entire site with the press of one button.

When initially filling the site with content this might actually be a handy feature.

Yeah, totally.

If you visit admin/publishall you can do this.

But it's a bit hidden.

I believe that bulk-publish features are being considered - similar to the bulk delete - but I'm not sure where this is at. I think it's "on the list" :-P

It's on my To Do list here: http://support.silverstripe.com/gsoc/wiki/GSoc07UsabilityElijah :)

Hello there!! congratulations for the cms 2007 nomination! It's a very nice job that you'r doing. I'm evaluating this cms for my websites.. I like the simplicity.
I wonder if the publish all is steel in progress.. It's a very good thing to have, more if you have a lot of pages!..Other question how can i do secondary menus??

like sam said, visit /admin/publishall to publish all the pages.

Other question how can i do secondary menus

In the cms just click the top level page you would like the sub menu under ( eg the About Us page) and create a page or whatever you want. If you are using the BlackCandy theme it will automatically create the secondary menu on the left.

'publishall' will come in ss v2.2; the code in progress is already available in subversion :)

Holler out to Bernat, as he's already done some translation work...

See http://www.silverstripe.com/google-summer-of-code-fruit-2-internationalisation/

Again, this is in the upcoming 2.2 release that is available with SVN (or at http://dailybuilds.silverstripe.com)

Thanks for the compliments ... cool to see people in Argentina using SS :)
