Hi Folk

I am setting up a website which has a members only section. It is great to have the page access features in the latest version of SS. I would like to check with you how this could work.

As part of the members only section. I have created a forum - using the forum module. I was wondering if I could use the forum members group as THE database for members (I will remove the option for people to register - the data-entry of members will have to be done by the admin in the security section of the CMS). Meaning that members of the forum will also be granted access to a number of other pages on the site (which are not accessible to the general public).

Could I also use the same list of members for the newsletter?

Cheers
