Hello,

I am trying to create a user that can access Blog Management *only*. This means allowing them to login to the CMS and to be prompted to add a blog entry.

I have created a Security Group called Blog and added the user to this. However, I do *not* see the code in the dropdown list "Blog management". I am running Blog 0.2.1.

Presently, I have added the user to the Admin group and I have provided the link:
http://www.mysite.com/Security/login?BackURL=/blog

Please advise the correct way to do this.

Cheers,

Gary

Just set the permissions in the CMS (under the ACCESS tab for a page) to allow them to edit the BlogHolder. That link should be fine - if you have the blog management widget they'll be able to add posts.

Thanks Hamish.

I did try that but I still needed to grant access to the Administrators group in Security.

Downloading the latest trung seemed to resolve the issue. However, now the $Tag value does not work in my templates.

I appreciate the response.

Cheers,

Gary
