I, and by "I" I mean our client, want to have the auto-detect rss link on every page of the site. I could just put it in the template, but then it would be there twice on the actual blog pages. I tried to find the code that adds that element to the head but had no luck. Anyone know a proper way to do this?

Also, does anyone know how if it's possible to add a widget (in this case the SubscribeRSSWidget widget) to a template without having to add a widget area and then adding the widget for every page?

Cheers
