Is it possible to replace a specific image through the cms interface? You should be able to click an image see it, in full and a thumbnail and replace it so that everywhere it is used gets updated.

are you talking about an image hardcoded into the template? or are you talking about editing a record or page? could you post some more details please like a screen shot of the image ont eh live site, the page type and content within the cms...

The simple answer is yes if it is setup correctly, but no if it is hard coded in the template.

I mean, that if a user/editor/a client uploads an image to add to the content of a page, and then added the same images to 20 other pages there should be a way to update the one image and all 20 references don't have to change, I can do this with ftp but for a client it's not posible at the moment.

oh ok, are you uploading them into the assets folder (using AssetAdmin in the CMS) and then using that image in the content?
