Hi Everyone,

I noticed in SilverStripe video on YouTube that you could upload a new image from the content page you were editing. This function doesn't seem to exist in the latest version...

It's too time consuming to have users write their content, save then go to files & images to upload a new image and then back to the page again to insert it.

Is there something we have missed or has this been removed?

Thanks,
Rich

Hello Rich,

Edit: Sorry, thought you were asking about another feature, corrected the answer.

Yes, this is disabled because of previous incompatibilities of the used javascript library with new Flash Players: http://open.silverstripe.com/ticket/3023. Due to be resolved in 2.4, patches and testing welcome :)

Hi Ingo,

Thanks, I thought I was going mad there for a minute. :)

We'll look at the dev built and test it...

Cheers,
Rich
