Is there a way to display thumbnails of pictures (and maybe icons for other files) in the assets manager in the back-end?

It is really hard to find one particular picture in the same set if I can't see it and don't remember the file name :-)

This one seems to be for the public not for the internal CMS, right?

Hi Suntrop,

You can use the DataObject Manager module in the Asset manager, just add the module and it overrides the default manager. You can disable this override it in the DOM _config file if you need to.

The only feature it doesnt support is dragging and dropping of files between folders, other than that is is a far better asset manager and allows you to switch between thumnail and file view :)

Thanks aram for your help. I installed (with a little bit of trouble aside ;-) ) the DataObject Manager and it seems to work fine.
