Upgrading TinyMCE

The most current stable release of TinyMCE is 3.9.3 however SilverStripe is still using version 2.4.1, which is almost two years old!

I tried upgrading it myself but I get JavaScript errors because of SilverStripe modifications. How can I upgrade TinyMCE to the latest verstion?

If you can't make it there is hope for an update in the next major release:

Please let me know if you manage to update it yourselves, because I'm not a programmer and can't make it :(
