I kind of found out the solution to an issue....by not adding article pages under ArticleHolder page.
But I also want the same left navigation menu, which is on ArticleHolder page, in all Articles pages..How can I do that?
Is there any other solution to an issue mentioned in initial post???

With <% control childerenof(page url) %> you can do that..
I know its very basic...but still thought to let u know...might help someone else...
