Yup. The latest versions of DOM and ImageGallery are set up to detect which one you're using.

Me again,

so I removed old swfupload and Dataobject manager taken from the Silverstripe Page and installed the new uploadify and DOM Modules downloaded from leftandmain.com (used the tgz Download not the svn Repository).

Now the error message has changed to "product_logo_48.png (5.24KB) - IO Error" and the Logout stays the same. Tested it with the changes to the previous mentioned /cms and /saphire Files and also with an unchanged Installation of SS2.4.1. Any Suggestions?

I've never seen, or even heard of that error before. You might want to check out this post.. http://www.uploadify.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=41

Looks like there's something you can turn off in .htaccess. I think some mod_security configurations are paranoid of Flash-based requests for some reason..

I'm sorry, but I#m not going to get this thing working.

The IO Error appears in the Upload Processbar. When the bar is fully filled (the file is fully uploaded) then the Processbar changes to red an the Error Message IO Error appears.

Is there Anyway, to debug this Thing and get the return of the Upload php it send the file to?

I've tried UploadifyField::show_debug(); but this doensn't give me much information.

Good day to all!

I've got the same problem, and i noticed that it happens when i upload images via swfupload using not Administrator account but the Content author account. So for the quick unsecure fix i've to change user's account to Administrator, so it works now.

Foldor, I'm not sure how you have your member groups and your custom site code set up but if you have some kind of page or dataobject being saved and published along with the upload, your problem might lie with publishing or saving permissions. Check your code and give your users permission to publish/save the particular object if necessary.

That's a really old bug. I recommend either upgrading SWFUpload and DOM, or, better yet, install Uploadify instead of SWFUpload..
