Hi everyone,
first of all, I'm not that experienced with silverstripe - hope that's alright :)

My problem:

I set Silverstripe up and installed "image_gallery", "dataobject_manager" and "swfupload". Works fine so far.

When I try to access an image gallery, I recieve an error message: Website Error, There has been an error,
The website server has not been able to respond to your request.

In the dev-mode it reads like this: (I replaced the actual website with [ url ]).

Any suggestions? I don't really know how to proceed.

Taking a quick look at the error I think you need to go to /dev/build to let Silverstripe know that you have installed a module.

Can you post on here if that works for you?

Hey Matt,
thanks for your reply!

I already did the Database build several times. It successfully completes every time but leaves me with the same error. So it doesn't seem to be related.

A friend suggested that I have to dig into the code of the module because there seems to be something wrong with the SQL-Query (ImageGalleryPage.php:337). I skimmed through some of the php files but wasn't able to fix anything... (= not enough coding experience).

But it seems to be an internal module code-issue, right? Maybe I should try another module :/

looking at the code it looks like you need to create an album before it will work correctly. I know you have just installed the module so just wanted to check if this was the problem

Make sure your site is in dev mode so you can find out what the error is. "There has been an error" isn't really helpful!

Also, I encourage you to use Uploadify instead of SWFUpload with ImageGallery and DOM..
