How can I stop 'LimitWordCountXML' from generating a HTML 'br' tag whenever it comes upon a double 'br' tag in the page content?
I am not concerned if the page content is split on a half word, I just need the search results to flow across the entire width of my HTML container element and not keep having a 'br' tag after every few words which creates a very narrow column.
Thanks.

I am using $Content.LimitWordCount and not $Content.LimitWordCountXML and this will return the content without the <br /> tags
