Have you clear the cart? I emptied the cart but this is not the same thing.. I had to actually clear the cart before ant modifiers showed up.

I am completely new to this site and was wondering where the latest version of the ecommerce module may be???? Also with instructions on how to install would be most appreciated.

Not a programmer but have worked with several cms and carts so can follow instructions fairly well.

TIA

Hi,
The latest download links can be found at http://silverstripe-ecommerce.googlecode.com/svn/branches/burnbright ecommerce and http://silverstripe-ecommerce.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/.
The module is currently been worked on by a couple of Developers who are doing a great job, so it's 'not off the shelf' ready. It will be very much a case of reading all the posts in this forum section to follow the changes of the 2.3 module to the 2.4 module. I'm not a developer either, so it's taken some time for me to get it to a working level that I'm happy with. Currently, it's still a work in progress, however, its worth sticking with. Let me know what you are wanting to do and I'll see if I can help.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the response.

At this point I have installed SS 2.4 - managed to get a new template installed that has the site/blog/ecommerce templates included.

So as you can see it is not an issue for me to include an ecommerce module that is still wip - that can be launched later. Which brings me to the question of: If the ecommerce module is installed now would it just be a case of removing (commenting out) the link to the shop?

As a complete noobie I am just about to go through the help files to find out how it all works :-)

Thanks again.

Cheers

I have used the burnbright

The latest download links can be found at http://silverstripe-ecommerce.googlecode.com/svn/branches/burnbright ecommerce and http://silverstripe-ecommerce.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

However, I still have problem getting the

Order::set_modifiers(array("SimpleShippingModifier", "TaxModifier"));
SimpleShippingModifier::set_default_charge(10);
TaxModifier::set_for_country('NZ', 0.125, 'GST', 'exclusive');

Anyone has any issue and have successfully get it working?

Reading from the post, suggesting many conflicting info, I have tried almost all, still no luck. Any suggestion?
Anyone actually is able to get it work at all? (with the latest burnbright version????)

Hi,
Tax and Shipping modifiers are not working yet. Not sure how to get around this. I'm looking through all the previous produced stuff that Nicholaas first wrote to see how to get round this. There are still some bugs to Iron out, but I'll have a URL soon to show a working example.
