Hey SS-Community

I really do need help!

Currently can a order can only be placed , if a user is registered (or logged in)

I would like that one can be abandoned without a registration.

How can I solve this problem?

Website: keck.miller-webdesign.ch

Thanks a bunch!

Hello atti, currently this isn't possible with the default setup, so I've made a ticket here:

..I don't think it'll be too hard to introduce.

I'm confused :S

It says, if u're not a Member u have to create a Order first. But how should I create a Order if i'm not a Member?

That is part of the same problem.

The system will create a member, based on the email and password provided when the first order is placed. Subsequent orders using that email require that the member be logged in first.

...this is what we need to modify so that creating a membership becomes optional.

I would be very interested in this, has anyone ever stripped out the membership requirements ? Or even just found a way to have a user provide an email, and have the system provide a default password, so that users never need to see the login/register form ?
