I'ver set up a new development site and rewritten loads, and now need to move the shop from my old site to this new one.

But ... is it ok to copy all the shop tables and the member table - or is it more complicated?
I *think* the product set is the same ... but will need to check - else I would also need to copy product records in sitetree and don't fancy that much.

If too complicated I'll just leave the old site as is for archive and order reports etc, and start fresh on the new and just let customers create accounts again ... but would prefer not to.

Thanks for any pointers.

The shop tables are complex as you'll need the SiteTree and Page tables as well so not something trivial. Your best bet is to write a migration task from the old database to the new one (doesn't need to built in SS), copy the rows you need from old database (take a look at the class structure) for the tables you'll need to clear about. Like I said, not trivial though.
