Selecting more than 1 image to upload, results in "Empty file upload result" errors in IE10+

Hello!

We are struggling with this IE10+ specific error:
if more than 1 image is selected to upload, SS answers with "Empty file upload result" errors, only the first file is uploaded.

this relates to any backend upload field like in media files repository and uploading files in a page 'context'

doing some search brings up some articles telling us
THIS HAS BEEN AN ISSUE FOR MONTH/YEARS!!! (initial post is dated "JUN 2013"!!!)

WILL THIS EVER BE FIXED ?!?!?!?!?!?

=> running SS-3.1.6 on Win2008r2 (server + mssql)

Have you tried implementing the fix from the second issue? Because if it fixes the issue for you, it might be well worth to bump that thread :)
