I'm trying to add a form to my contact page. I've uploaded the userforms folder to my server. I'm not sure how to build the database, and then connect the form to my contact us page. I know this is pretty rudimentary, but I'm new to SilverStripe.

Best.

<baseurl>/dev/build?flush=1 builds new stuff, like your newly installed module
(for example http://localhost/dev/build?flush=all or http://www.example.com/dev/build?flush=all)

Then in the <baseurl>/admin goto the 'Pages' section, click 'create' select the page type of 'User Defined Form', click 'go'. Edit the stuff on the tabs (like 'form'), save & publish.

happy days

Hi swaiba. Thank you very much. I was able to build the database, but when I tried to create the page there wasn't a type for user defined form. Am I missing something?

Thanks again.

hmmm I am not sure - there could be many problems.

I should point out that since this is a module you really should hit up the the module section, not forms.

I take you have read... http://doc.silverstripe.org/modules and the install text document that came with the module...

Greetings swaiba. Thanks for your support here. I have not read the background on the modules. I'll give your suggestions a go, and get back here (hopefully) with great news.

Thanks again.
