The get an error:
You don't have access to this page. If you have another account that can access that page, you can log in again.
I tried this but it did not help:
class ForumMemberProfile extends Page_Controller {
function canView () {
return true;

Are you using the latest master version? Also is the logged member in the forum group in the CMS.
Members are in the forum group of the CMS. I am using a a version that is two years old and highly customized.
